Corporate Partnership 2025

Introduction

Australian Health and Aged Care (AHAC) is a forward-thinking consultancy-based company dedicated to strengthening Australia’s health and aged care sector by connecting suppliers with the decision-makers driving its growth.

With significant investments to the sector and the implementation of the five pillar reform plan following the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, it is crucial that hospitals and aged care facilities have access to timely, accurate information and resources.

Our mission at Australian Health and Aged Care is to educate and empower key decision-makers, including procurement officers, CEOs, Directors, Managers, and Directors of Nursing at private hospitals, public hospitals, aged care facilities, and home care providers.

We ensure they are well-informed about available government funding opportunities and connect them with trusted, vetted suppliers who offer tailored solutions to meet the sector’s evolving needs.

Through our exclusive network of reputable Australian suppliers, we help facilities navigate the complexities of funding, maximise operational efficiency, and maintain high care standards.

Our concept is to help assist and improve the health and aged care sector as a whole whilst always having our clients at the forefront, ensuring you are capitalising on our extensive industry research and exposure to this sector.

Australian Health & Aged Care allows you to connect with the health and aged care sector, positioning you as a preferred supplier for decision makers to engage when utilising funding.

Funding

The 2020–25 National Health Reform Agreement (NHRA) allocated approximately $131.4 billion in additional funding to public hospitals over five years. As of December 2023, the National Cabinet agreed to a new funding model for the next NHRA, set to commence in 2025–26.

This model includes:

  • Increased Commonwealth Contribution: The Commonwealth's share will rise to 45% over a ten-year period starting in 2025–26.

  • Flexible Funding Caps: The previous 6.5% national funding cap will be replaced by a more flexible approach, incorporating a cumulative cap from 2025 to 2030 and an initial 'catch-up' growth premium.

Key purchasers and decision-makers, including Chief Executive Officers, Executive Directors, Procurement Officers, Facility Managers, Directors of Nursing, Clinical Services Managers, Resident Administration Officers, Registered Aged Care Nurses, Doctors and Surgeons.

"I found the resource very helpful because it is a comprehensive guide to all things aged care. It is particularly useful to be able to see a national picture of the many service providers in each State and Territory. It’s been a while since I looked at such a publication. It’s an excellent first point of call for anyone looking for providers in the 65+ demographic."
