Twin lid stay - Safe-T-Stay
Committed to prioritising safety and innovation in all our products, the Safe-T-Stay was recently designed and tested by Easyquip as an alternative to traditional Twin Lid Stays that have been causing nationwide injuries, as severe as amputation. Current Twin Lid Stays pose a significant risk due to their deep notches that in combination with the side angles, create a perilous guillotine-like effect when the lid is being lowered.
If a user were to operate the stay with their hand above the side angle, they are at risk of finger amputation if the lid were to slip and fall with their finger in one of the notches. In response to this safety hazard, the Safe-T-Stay introduces a simple yet effective solution. By incorporating just a couple additional components, a lever function is formed that necessitates both hands to be kept clear of pinch points during operation, significantly decreasing the risk of accidents and injuries. Additionally, the smoother notches in the stay further decrease the likelihood of finger entrapment and potential amputation. With the Safe-T-Stay, you can trust in a product that prioritises user safety without compromising on efficiency and ease of use.
Dual Lid-In-Lid
Adapted from a standard 3m Frontlift bin to tackle the challenges of heavy, high, and
cumbersome waste disposal, this innovative "Lid-In-Lid" design showcases a custom molded dual lid system that seamlessly integrates a traditional mobile garbage bin (MGB) lid for enhanced user-friendly functionality and practicality. While the incorporation of the MGB lid provides a lightweight solution that boosts usability and efficiency, its sloped top frame also maintains a convenient low loading height, even with the additional height from castors. Moreover, the dual lid is hinged to allow for a near 270-degree opening, simplifying waste management processes and ensuring optimal convenience.
Single piece lid - Prop-A-Lid
As a premium safety product, the Prop-A-Lid is a 3.0m-6.0m single-piece, spring-assisted lid with a centrally mounted ratchet style lid-stay mechanism, operated via handles at each side. The proven benefits of a single-piece lid are retained by its design - including reduced rainwater and vermin ingress. Compaction equipment
Most large facilities across Australia would have some kind of waste compaction process in their waste handling process. Compactors can be extremely beneficial to waste management processes with frequent low to high volumes of waste. By compacting waste into a more condensed form, the volume disposed of in one offsite transit can be significantly increased, decreasing the quantity of these cycles required over a period of time. Designed and patented by Easyquip, the auger compactors mechanical system has the gearbox mounted directly inside the auger head itself, eliminating the need for gears or chains. This superior design alongside the inclusion of forklift pockets on the bottom of its frame allows for a quick and effortless removal and replacement of the complete mechanical part.
Using just a rattle gun and a forklift, an auger compactor breakdown could be back up and running in under 15 minutes. Bin tippers
Integrating the use of electric or electric hydraulic operated mechanical bin tippers is an excellent way to remove manual handling associated with waste movements and removal. The mechanical operation of bin tippers is designed to perform the difficult task of tipping one bin into another, while keeping the operator safe and keeping waste contained within the waste disposal system.
Bin tippers can be used in conjunction with waste compactors as well as with regular waste bin systems including Frontlift, Marell and Hooklift bins. Waste is generally placed
in 240L, 660L or 1100L mobile garbage bins throughout the facility, then it is transported in these bins to a central point where a rubbish bin or waste compactor is located. At this point a bin tipper is used to load the waste into the system where it is then collected by the waste collection company.
Using the bin tipper means that manual handling is reduced for the operators and
makes the waste handling process a safer and more efficient and effective process, leading to reduced potential for injuries and ensuring operators spend less time engaged in the waste management process. Easyquip has developed several different designs of bin tippers to suit many different situations and applications across varied industries.
